The Porsche 924 is a sports car and was introduced in the year 1975. It is available with a 2.0 litre R4 or 2.5 litre R4 engine. In the 70‘, the Volkswagen brand commissioned the Porsche brand to make a sports car. Its codename was EA 425 but due to the fuel crisis at the time Volkswagen withdrew. The Porsche brand then decided to use this model and create a car for their company. They used inexpensive parts and created a car available for regular car buyers and not just the wealthy. That is why you can now buy used Porsche 924 for a fairly decent price. The Porsche 924 is available with a 2.5 litre water cooled I4 engine. The same engine can also be found in the Porsche 924 Carrera. In the year 1985 the Porsche 924S was introduced. It was not as popular as the previous model and that it why the production stopped after three years. Used Porsche 924 cars are not very popular in this day and age in terms of having a car for road use. They are quite old and it is rather hard to drive them. You can find some used Porsche 924 cars on sale in the United States or in the Germany. Their price is not high and those who decide to buy used Porsche 924 may well prefer to keep it in storage as some kind of memorabilia?
