Beautiful sports car – a used Honda Integra Type R

At first glance this machine doesn’t look like it’s allowed to normal road use – all because of its uniqe silhouette, reminding more race car than a normal vehicle. But this car was intended for road use, although its performance isn’t quite „normal”. This is why a used Honda Integra Type R is a very sought after machine. A used Honda Integra Type R is a car built in limited numbers and hand finished. It is equipped with a powerful 1,8 litre four cylinder engine producing 187 horsepower and can accelerate the car from 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h) in 6,7 seconds, while the maximum speed is 145 mph (233 km/h). The power is transmitted to front wheels via a five speed manual gearbox and there is no option for an automatic one, because it would ruin the performance. Suspension of a used Honda Integra Type R consists of double wishbones, lowered coil springs, uprated dampers and anti roll bars. With this kind of suspension the machine has very good handling, further improved by the use of bracing bars. For safety reasons a used Honda Integra Type R is equipped with large diameter braking discs (ventilated at the front, solid at the rear) and an ABS anti lock system. The car has also reduced weight, lightweight exhaust and almost completely lacks of cabin sound insulation materials.
